Family-owned and operated since 1983
Eklund’s, Inc. began as a small shop in Grapevine, Texas in 1983. Its founder, James (Jim) B. Eklund, had spent his entire career in the elevator cab and entrance business. Often, he felt that improvements could be made. This inspired a vision: a cab company focused on delivering manufacturing and service excellence. Driven by this, Eklund’s has since grown to be a leader in custom elevator cabs in the vertical transportation industry.
Building a family legacy
In 1983, Eklund’s became incorporated and Bradley Eklund, Jim’s son, became Vice President of Production. Beth Cunningham, Jim’s daughter, joined the growing company as Vice President of Sales in 1984.
The next generation
Eklund’s remains family-owned and operated. Beth Cunningham now serves as President, with Jim’s grandsons, Heath Cunningham and Joseph Eklund, holding executive roles. His granddaughter, Heather Maddux, leads the sales and marketing team.

We are ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, & ISO 14001:2015 certified by NSF-ISR to manufacture elevator cab solutions in Southlake, Texas. Our master craftsmen use state-of-the-art techniques and premium, durable materials, ensuring every cab — bespoke or StreamLine — meets the highest standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetic look.
We manage the entire process from concept through installation, fabricating in-house at our corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility in Dallas/Fort Worth, and our second manufacturing facility in Washington DC.
